I specialize in working with women who feel this stress and pressure daily, and take home the message of “I’m not good enough”. They respond by trying harder. They restrict their diet, overdue it in the gym, show up for anyone and everyone so they can feel enough. And then they find themselves burnt out, overworked, gaining more weight, frustrated, and even more overwhelmed. They wonder why they keep “falling short” of these unrealistic expectations.

The expectations we put on ourselves, have an effect on our bodies. The way we treat ourselves, has an effect on our bodies. So many women suffer from constant stress and anxiety and in turn, struggle with diagnoses of hormone imbalances, autoimmune disease, eating disorders, mood disorders, and so on.

I specialize in an integrated approach to therapy. Combining talk therapy, trauma processing, and lifestyle medicine. We cannot work on one without the other. We can so easily see (and feel!) that our physical health and mental health our connected.

  • Emotion Focused Therapy- Helping you understand, regulate, and communicate your emotions, needs, and boundaries. Getting unstuck from emotions.

  • Mindfulness- Calming the nervous system, understanding the window of tolerance and learning skills to widen it.

  • EMDR- Helping you process past trauma and negative core beliefs that get in the drivers seat and run your life.

  • Integrated Therapy- using lifestyle medicine & the wheel of wellness (see picture) to aid in your goals.
